Fourteen (14) Black Stars players started training on Monday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
Captain Asamoah Gyan was present and had other senior players Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, of Mubarak Wakaso and John Boye take part in the training.
Home-based duo goalkeeper Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars and WAFA’s Samuel Tetteh were around after featuring for their sides in the Ghana Premier League.
In-form striker Majeed Waris and Anderlecht star Frank Acheampong also made the cut.
Orlando Pirates defender Edwin Gyimah and Leicester City new boy Daniel Amartey were present.
Ghana coach Avram Grant named 23 players for the double qualifiers but Chicago Fire striker has withdrawn from the squad due to injury.
