Black Stars new boy Ebenezer Annan was sent off when his outfit, Novi Pazar succumbed to a defeat against TSC Backa Topola in the Serbian top-flight on Tuesday.

Annan, who recently debuted for the senior national team, the Black Stars during the March international friendlies received straight red card, two minutes to full time.

The Ghanaian youngster was handed a starting role in his outfit 3-4 home defeat to TSC Backa Topola in the Round 28 of the Serbian Super Liga.

The visitors shot into the lead after just nine minutes into the game through Milos Pantovic but the host responded quickly with an equalizer two minute later through Adem Ljajic.

Novi Pazar scored to extend their lead in the 15th minute mark after Adem Ljajic fired home his second goal of the match.

The visitors pulled parity in the 24th minute through Aleksandar Cirkovic, as the first half ended in a 2-2 draw.

Putting on a stellar performance, Serbia international Ivan Milosavljevic scored to put the visitors infront in the 51st minute before firing home his second goal in the 55th minute to seal win for Backa Topola.

Serbia international Adem Ljajic scored to seal a hat-trick in injury time, reducing his sides deficit in the game.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian defender is enjoying an amazing loan spell with the Serbian club, making 23 appearances and providing two assists.

He has been an integral member of Novi Pazar since joining the club last summer.

Annan joined Serbia Superliga club Novi Pazar from Bologna last summer after a loan spell at Imolese in Serie D. He was voted as the best left-back in the first half of the Serbia Superliga last year.
