Black Stars land in Morocco for AFCON Qualifier

The Black Stars have landed in Oujda, Morocco, ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group F qualifier against Niger.

Twenty-three players made the trip, with Los Angeles Galaxy forward Joseph Painstil unable to join due to passport issues.

The team will hold training sessions on Saturday and Sunday before facing Niger in their second group match.

Following a disappointing loss to Angola on Thursday, the team is eager to bounce back and stay in contention for one of the two slots in the group.

The game is scheduled for the Municipal Sports Stadium in Berkane on Monday, September 9, 2024.
