Ghana head coach Chris Hughton, along with his assistant George Boateng, have touched down in Charlotte in preparation for friendly matches against Mexico and the United States of America.
The Black Stars are scheduled to face Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday, October 14, followed by a match against the United States on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
These high-profile fixtures are integral to Ghana’s preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers in November and the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
Both Hughton and Boateng arrived in Charlotte and took time to inspect the training facilities in anticipation of the upcoming matches.
Ghana is eagerly awaiting the draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group stage, set to be held on October 12 in Abidjan.
Meanwhile, Chris Hughton has named a 23-man squad for the upcoming friendlies against the United States and Mexico.
