Golden Kick FC head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson views his team’s FA Cup final appearance as a significant achievement despite their 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko.

Hanson believes that reaching the final has been a great value for his lower-tier side, who have been praised for their style of play.

“Playing in the final of the FA Cup has been a great value and a great achievement for the team,” he said on Asempa FM.

Hanson revealed that his team focused on their own preparations and didn’t watch Asante Kotoko’s games ahead of the final.

“Our focus was not on Asante Kotoko but on ourselves. We did not even watch their matches during preparation for the final,” he added.

Asante Kotoko, the FA Cup champions, will represent Ghana in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
