All financial rewards for a Ghana win over Malawi in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier on Saturday has been made ready, the Sports Ministry has confirmed.
The Black Stars will be well taken care of in terms of cash if they are able to deliver victory over the Flames at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Ghana needs a massive win to ensure the return leg game in Blantyre next month is rendered a mere formality.
Authorities have thus ensured all financial and logistical motivation to produce this win are in place ahead of the 15:30 GMT kickoff on Saturday.
“Your money and everything else is ready, if you like you can take a look at it,†Deputy Sports Minister Edward Omane-Boamah told the team after Friday’s training session.
“We (Ministry) don’t want to take this money back and I am very sure you will beat the Malawians.â€
The Black Stars will be spotting black armbands against Malawi to honour the memory of Ghana’s late President John Atta-Mills.
