The Black Queens are gearing up for the Pink Ladies Cup in the United Arab Emirates, a crucial preparatory tournament for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The team will face Hong Kong on Feb 28, Russia on March 3, and Tanzania on March 6, with kickoff times at 16:00 GMT, 16:00 GMT, and 21:00 GMT, respectively.
The tournament is a valuable opportunity for the Black Queens to test their skills, tactics, and fitness against quality opposition, including physically strong Russia.
Coach Kim Lars Björkegren will use the matches to evaluate players and sharpen tactical ideas.
The Black Queens will feature at the 2026 WAFCON where the team will be seeking a semi final finish to book a spot in the 2027 World Cup.
