Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Sampson described the game as an opportunity to assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
“The game is a test for us to know our strengths and weaknesses, but the girls are ready for it,” Sampson said.
The Black Princesses have been preparing intensively, with the coach highlighting the team’s progress.
Ghana will host South Africa in the first leg of the qualifier on February 8, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, before traveling for the return leg on February 12-14.
The Black Princesses are aiming for an eighth consecutive World Cup appearance.
