With their maiden Ghana Premier League title secured in style, Bibiani GoldStars are shifting focus to their next big challenge, the CAF Champions League.
Their emphatic win over relegated Accra Lions on June 8 sealed top spot and a place in the prestigious continental tournament.
Coach Frimpong Manso has already drafted plans to bolster the squad, aiming to make a statement beyond the preliminary stage.
“We need to add to the squad because that is another level,” Frimpong said on Globe TV.
“At every level, you need to add. We will see the kind of quality we want, whether experienced or youth. I have the draft there; we will answer all those questions as to who and who are coming.”
The club is drawing inspiration from Medeama SC, who broke through to the group stage in the 2023 edition, as they prepare for their first taste of continental football.
