Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Appiah McCarthy anticipates tough test against Asante Kotoko

Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Appiah McCarthy is anticipating a tough test against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Goldstars to the Baba Yara Stadium at 6pm on Friday in the week 19 of the top-flight.

Ahead of the game, the former Ashantigold player is anticipating a very tough encounter against Kotoko.

“Kotoko is a big club and preparation for such big games are different. Kotoko is in a good shape but we are not placed well on the league table so it is going to be a good game. We’ve played twice this season; we beat them in the first leg before they also defeated us in the FA Cup. both teams will approach this game with all seriousness in our third meeting this season, so it will be a good game”

“Kotoko lost in their previous game and will do everything possible to pick points on home turf but we will go into the game to at least get a point”

Bibiani Goldstars are 13th on the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
