Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has praised his team’s impressive 4-0 win over Russia in the Pink Ladies Cup.
“We trust our girls so much and for every game, every camp we are just getting better,” Bjorkegren said.
“I’m super happy we won today and the way we won with 4-0. It was a deserved 4-0 win.”
The Swedish coach lauded his team’s performance, stating, “It is the best game I’ve ever seen this team play.”
The Black Queens’ next match is against Tanzania on March 6, as they look to build on this momentum in their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The team’s dominant display saw them score four goals, with Stella Nyamekye, Doris Boaduwaa (2), and Patience Ajegipena Zakaria all getting on the scoresheet.
