Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) President Ben Nunoo Mensah has backed Ghanaians calling for the sacking of Black Stars trainer Otto Addo.
Addo has come under immense pressure for failing to qualify Ghana for the African Cup of Nations for the first time in 20 years.
Ghana only managed three points after six games and finished at the bottom of Group F.
“Ghanaians have every right to call for the sack of the coach,” he told Asempa FM.
“I believe that somebody must take responsibility for Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the AFCON tournament.
“For failing to win a single game in the qualifiers and also failing to qualify for is a total embarrassment,” he added.
Meanwhile, Addo’s future is yet to be decided by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
