Bechem United’s coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah, expressed his frustration following his team’s goalless draw against Real Tamale United on Sunday.
In a tightly contested match during the 10th week of the Ghana Premier League, both Bechem United and Real Tamale United struggled to find the back of the net at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, resulting in a pulsating 0-0 draw.
After the game, Bismark Kobi Mensah lamented the missed opportunities in the match, which ultimately led to his team sharing the points with RTU.
He remarked, “Drawing against RTU is not a bad result. We had chances that we could have converted into goals, but we couldn’t capitalize on them. In my opinion, that was the only issue we faced in the game. Apart from that, I believe my players put up a strong defensive performance against RTU. In the end, my only disappointment is that we couldn’t make the most of our scoring opportunities.”
Bechem United currently sits in the 8th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 12 points earned from 9 matches.
