Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has declared the team’s primary objective is to defeat Accra Lions in their upcoming Ghana Premier League midweek fixture.
The Phobians are set to face their regional rivals in a week 28 outstanding fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the game, Coach Ouattara emphasized that his team is intensifying their training efforts to secure a victory.
“Every match we need the three points. We lost our last game against Legon Cities but the next must we focus and work hard for the three points,” Ouattara said.
“Beating Accra Lions is our target, we hope we beat them in Accra and secure the three maximum points.”
The 2020/21 champions are currently 12th on the standings with 35 points.
With the season winding down, finishing in the top four is becoming increasingly challenging.
