Defender Jerome Opoku scored his first goal for Ghana in a 2-2 draw against Uganda in an international friendly on Tuesday.
Opoku planted the ball into the back of the net after seven minutes following a delivery from Jordan Ayew.
Opoku has now played three games for Ghana’s Black Stars.
Steven Mukwala restored parity before the 15th minute mark but shortly after, Jordan Ayew netted a penalty to put Ghana in front.
In the dying embers of the game, the Cranes finally got the much needed equaliser to ensure the friendly ends in a draw.
Ghana has now ended the international break without a victory after losing 2-1 to Nigeria in the first encounter.
