FC Barcelona have identified 18-year-old wide attacker Jesse Bisiwu as part of their long-term recruitment plans.
The Club Brugge youngster, who is of Ghanaian heritage, has caught the attention of scouts with his speed, direct play and ability to operate on both wings.
Barcelona are believed to be assessing him as a potential addition to their reserve side, with a view to gradual integration into the senior squad.
His representative, Mobindi Marthi, has confirmed contact between the player’s camp and several leading European clubs.
“It’s true that Barcelona are closely following Jesse and are one of the clubs actively tracking his situation. However, we are managing everything calmly, step by step,” Marthi told Eram News.
He added: “Given the player’s talent, it’s completely normal for there to be official communications with several clubs, including major sides like Barcelona.”
The Catalan side recently intensified their monitoring efforts, with sporting director Deco and regional scout João Amaral travelling to Belgium.
Their visit reportedly placed Bisiwu firmly back on the club’s internal radar.
Despite being contracted until 2027, sources indicate the teenager would welcome the opportunity to join Barcelona should negotiations progress.
