Baba Rahman, Yiadom suffer Championship relegation with Reading

Reading FC duo Baba Rahman and Andy Yiadom have been relegated from the English 2nd tier to the League One.

Reading slump to the third tier of English football was confirmed on Thursday after Huddersfield Town’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Thursday night in their outstanding game.

Baba Rahman who is on loan from Chelsea has made 18 appearances for Reading, while Andy Yiadom has made 40 appearances.

With one game to end the 2022/2023 season, a win for Reading in their final game will make no difference as they are four points adrift of safety.

Reading have 44 points from 45 matches played this season and are without a win in their last 12 games.
