Ghanaian left-back Augustine Ameworlorna has joined Jordanian Pro League club Al-Baqaa on a free transfer from Kosovo side Mitrovica.
The 27-year-old completed the move on 4 August 2026, bringing his spell in Kosovo to an end after two seasons with Mitrovica. He now begins a new chapter in Jordan with Al-Baqaa.
Ameworlorna made 33 appearances in the Superliga e Kosoves during the most recent campaign, playing 2,800 minutes. He also featured four times in the Kupa e Kosoves, scoring once.
The defender is left-footed and stands 1.83m tall. His move to Al-Baqaa represents a switch from Kosovo’s domestic football to the Jordanian Pro League, where he will continue his career as a left-back.
Ameworlorna joined Mitrovica from KF Trepca 89 in July 2024, also on a free transfer. He had previously moved to KF Trepca 89 in 2021.
The Ghanaian’s senior club career has therefore included spells with KF Trepca 89 and Mitrovica before his arrival in Jordan. His latest transfer was completed without a fee, and no contract length has been announced.
Ameworlorna has now officially become an Al-Baqaa player following his free transfer from Mitrovica.
