Administrative Manager of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Dasoberi, has confirmed that the club will limit its squad to a maximum of 26 players for the upcoming 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The decision follows strategic planning in response to the team’s disappointing sixth-place finish in the previous season, necessitating the departure of over 20 players.
Dasoberi reassured fans that Kotoko will only recruit players who are fully prepared and fit to represent the club going forward.
“We will work with a maximum of 26 players, and I want to assure our fans that we are signing players who are ready and fit to play for Asante Kotoko,” Dasoberi told Akoma.
The club are currently active in the transfer market, seeking new signings.
