Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of former Accra Lions shot stopper Frederick Asare on a free transfer.
He joined the Poccupine Warriors on a three-year deal which will see him with the club until 2025.
Asare will be a replacement for Kwame Baah who has seen out his contract with the Ghanaian champions.
He kept 13 clean sheets in 28 games for his former side in their debut season in the Ghana Premier League
The 23 year old performance didn’t go unnoticed as he earned a call-up into the Black Galaxies to prepare for the CHAN qualifier.
Asare drew praise from fans with his excellent display in goal when Accra Lions hosted Kotoko in a 1-1 stalemate at the Accra Sports stadium
