Asante Kotoko right-back Emmanuel Kotei has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The club announced that he picked up a serious injury during Thursday’s training session.
Series of tests carried out on Kotei by the Medical Team, confirmed a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament with involvement of both meniscus in his right leg.
The player is set to undergo surgery in the coming days.
