Asante Kotoko SC secured a 2-0 victory over Aduana FC to return to winning form in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors, who had struggled in their last five matches, delivered a strong performance at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium in Dormaa.

Defender Patrick Asiedu opened the scoring with a spectacular free kick in the 9th minute, giving the visitors the lead heading into halftime.

In the second half, Albert Amoah capitalized on a Baba Yahaya corner, tapping in the second goal to seal the three points for Kotoko.

The victory moves Kotoko to 7th place on the league table with 18 points after 12 matches.

They will host Hearts of Oak in a highly anticipated Super Clash at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Meanwhile, Aduana FC, now 14th with 12 points, will aim to bounce back when they face Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in their next fixture.
