Heart of Lions delivered a commanding performance by defeating Legon Cities 3-0 to climb into the top four of the Ghana Premier League.

Kwadwo Obeng Junior opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, giving the hosts a crucial advantage before the halftime break.

William Kweku Adjei had a golden chance to equalize for the visitors before the interval but squandered the opportunity.

In the second half, Mustapha Yakubu doubled the lead in the 61st minute, and Nana Oppong sealed the victory with a third goal for the Lions.

Despite Legon Cities’ efforts to pull one back, they were unable to find the back of the net at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
