Headcoach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed high expectations for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, vowing to restore the club’s winning tradition.
Kotoko finished sixth in Ghana’s top-flight last season, having flirted with relegation for the majority of the campaign.
After parting company with over 20 players, Ogum, who made over 14 signings, is hoping to turn their fortunes around.
“We should expect this team to do very well by the end of the season, to play well, and win more games,” Ogum told 3Sports.
“Kotoko is known for winning games. If you coach or play for Kotoko, you know it’s a task you must accomplish.”
Asante Kotoko are currently occupying the 7th position with 3 points with a game at hand.
They will host newcomers Young Apostles this weekend in a match day three of the Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
