Asante Kotoko’s coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, expressed his disappointment following his team’s unexpected home defeat against Dreams FC in the matchday 9 fixture.
The Porcupine Warriors were left stunned by a thunderbolt free-kick from Abdul Aziz Issah at the Baba Yara Stadium.
As a result, Asante Kotoko’s record for the season stands at two wins, four draws, and three defeats after nine games, placing them in the 13th position on the league table with 10 points.
Coach Narteh Ogum did not mince words when discussing his team’s performance after the match, attributing the disappointing outcome to their inability to finish their chances effectively.
He acknowledged the somber mood among the players after the game but promised that they would strive to make their fans proud in the upcoming matches.
“Very disappointing. Our finishing was poor,” he told StarTimes.
“The feeling among the playing body is not good. Automatically is not good. If you don’t win, the feeling is always bad.
“It is a league which is ongoing so they should keep supporting the team and we will make them proud,” he concluded.
