Asante Kotoko are on the verge of signing former Bechem United midfielder Seth Kwadwo as they look to reinforce their midfield ahead of the new season.
The 22-year-old left Bechem after his contract expired, having spent three solid seasons at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
A fan favourite in his first two years, Kwadwo delivered consistently with standout performances, earning multiple MVP awards.
In his debut campaign (2022/23), he was named Bechem United’s Player of the Season after recording 3 goals, 10 assists, and 6 MVPs.
He went one better the following season with 14 goal contributions (3 goals, 11 assists), earning a call-up to the Black Galaxies.
Though injury disrupted his recent campaign, Kwadwo returned strongly in the latter part, making 11 league appearances.
Kotoko have already signed Hubert Gyau from Berekum Chelsea and look set to add Kwadwo as they reshape their squad for next season.
