Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu has been named Stade Rennais FC’s Player of the Month for September.
He edged out teammates Ludovic Blas and Arnaud Kalimuendo in a fan vote, a testament to his outstanding performances.
The former Clermont Foot player has featured in all six games for Rennes in the ongoing campaign.
The 24-year-old has been in peak form, playing every match in September, including fixtures against Montpellier and RC Lens.
With this momentum, Seidu is likely to secure another starting spot when Stade Rennais FC hosts AS Monaco this weekend.
He’s also a strong contender for coach Otto Addo’s squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Sudan.
