Former Ghana goalkeeper Ali Jarah has pledged to backed whoever will be named as the trainer of Black Stars after departure of coach Otto Addo.
The Dortmund talent coach led the team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar but decided to step down after Ghana’s elimination from the tournament.
He, however, clarified that his exit was due to his contract with Dortmund which will expire in the next two and half years.
The Ghana FA are expected to act quickly and appoint a new head coach ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
“I am a Ghanaian, whoever comes I will support. The only thing is we support for the national team to win trophies, that’s my prayer. Ali Jarah told Citi Sports.
The football governing body of country is yet to take any decision on appointing any trainer of the Black Stars vacant position yet.
