Al Ahly in race to sign Abdul Aziz Yakubu from Rio Ave

Abdul Aziz Yakubu has been on signing list of Egyptian power house, Al Ahly in the winter transfer window.

The North African giants have opened negotiations with the Portuguese club over the acquisition of Ghanaian striker, who has been impressive this season.

Yakubu has 8 goals and 3 assists in 15 matches in all competitions for Rio Ave this campaign.

The 24-year-old is likely to complete the move in the coming weeks if agreement between both parties is reached.
