Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored a brace for FC Aarau in their 3-0 win against Stade Lausanne-Ouchy in the Swiss Challenge League.
Barnieh opened the scoring with a superb strike in the 22nd minute and doubled his tally in the 63rd minute.
Valon Fazliu sealed the victory with a 92nd-minute goal, extending FC Aarau’s unbeaten streak to five games.
This win keeps Aarau top of the table with 15 points from five matches.
Barnieh has now scored four goals in five league appearances, showcasing his sharpness in front of goal.
His fine form could prove pivotal in Aarau’s promotion campaign and might also earn him a Black Stars call-up.
