DR Congo superfan Michel Kuka Mboladinga, affectionately known as “Lumumba,” has been rewarded with a brand-new Jeep by the country’s Minister of Sports, Didier BUDIMBU.
This recognition comes after Kuka’s unwavering support for the national team at AFCON 2025 in Morocco, where he became a viral sensation for standing motionless in the stands, mirroring the iconic Patrice Lumumba statue in Kinshasa.
Kuka’s calm and dignified presence captured the hearts of fans across the continent, symbolizing Congolese pride and unity.
The Minister of Sports presented the car to Kuka on behalf of President Félix Tshisekedi, acknowledging his unique contribution to the team’s campaign.
Kuka’s fame extended beyond DR Congo, with AFCON organizers and the Algerian Football Federation also recognizing his dedication.
