AFCON 2023: Antoine Semenyo returns to Bournemouth after Ghana’s exit

Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo has returned to AFC Bournemouth after Ghana’s group stage exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Ghanaian forward was part of Coach Chris Hughton squad that represented Ghana in AFCON in Ivory Coast.

Semenyo trained with the club on Thursday afternoon ahead of their game against West Ham United in the English Premier League on February 1.

The 24-year-old strike has featured 17 times and scored three goals with an assist in the English Premier League campaign.

Ghana couldn’t progress to the next stage of the continental tournament, following their failure to win a game in their group in Ivory Coast,

Amadu Hamidu.
