Aduana FC head coach Cioba Aristica says his side will approach Sunday’s Premier League showdown at Baba Yara Sports Stadium with confidence.
The leaders have been in impressive form, winning four straight matches and extending their unbeaten run to five games, including a 0-0 draw with Medeama SC last weekend.
Aduana have conceded only once in their last five outings and boast the joint second-best defensive record this season, scoring nine and allowing four.
“Sunday is a big test, no doubt. We are going into a tough ground against a tough opponent. We’ve worked too hard, grown too much, and shown too much quality to walk into any stadium with doubt,” Aristica said.
Asante Kotoko, under Abdul Karim Zito, enter the match unbeaten in the league, having recently beaten Hearts of Oak 1-0 and drawn 0-0 with Vision FC.
The Porcupine Warriors sit seventh with 15 points from seven games, with two matches in hand that could boost their position.
Kotoko also hold a psychological advantage, having beaten Aduana in three of their last five home encounters, alongside one draw and one loss.
