Accra Lions have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC.
After four seasons in Ghana’s top flight, Lions will start next season in the Division One among Ghana’s low ranked teams, despite heavy investment.
Lions are on 35 points and can only muster 38 points, same number as 15th placed Basake Holy Stars, who have a superior goal difference than Lions.
Lions join Nsoatreman and Legon Cities as the relegated side this season.
Two second half goals from Dreams sealed Lions’ fate.
