Accra Lions defeated Bofoakwa Tano 1-0 in a Ghana Premier League week 24 crucial encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Striker Sadat Seidu scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute to claim the viral win and extend their unbeaten home run to five matches.
The result put the Accra based outfit in the 4th position with 36 points.
Their opponent’s Bofoakwa Tano are still in the relegation zone, occupying the 16th position 26 points.
Lion’s next game is away to Heart of Lions while Bofoakwa Tano will host Aduana Stars.
