Accra Great Olympics made light work of Aduana FC on their return to the Accra Sports Stadium as they tore them apart in a six-goal thriller. Great Olympics beat the two-time champions 4-2 to secure their first win in four League games.

The Dade Boys scored three goals in 35 minutes – through Isaac Mensah and Albert Amoah. Isaac Mensah opened the scoring in the 19th minute before, Amoah followed up with a brace inside 28 and 35 minutes respectively.

Zakaria Mumuni pulled one back for Aduana FC on the stroke of halftime but Albert Amoah added to his tally for his first hat-trick of the season in the 72nd minute to put the game beyond Aduana FC until Zakaria again scored in the 83rd minute to make it 4-2.

The result takes Accra Great Olympics to the 10th spot with 31 points – while Aduana FC drops further behind Nations FC and leaders FC Samartex 1996.

In Sunyani – Bofoakwa Tano recorded a 2-1 win over Karela United at the Coronation Park. The hosts took the lead through Sammy Osae Akoto in the 35th minute as Bofoakwa went into the break with a 1-0 cushioning. Back from recess, Mohammed Asigre drew Karela United level in the 63rd minute before Saaka Dauda broke the hearts of the visitors with a sublime winner in the 72nd minute. Despite the win, Bofoakwa Tano are still in the bottom three with 26 points – one point behind Karela United who are 15th in the League table.

At the theatre of Dreams – Joseph Mereku scored a 27th minute penalty to give Legon Cities all the spoils in a 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC.

Stephen Amankonah scored a last gasp equalizer for Berekum Chelsea as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with ten-man Bechem United at the Golden City Park. Emmanuel Annor gave the visitors a well-deserved lead but Chelsea fought back to equalize after David Asabere was given the marching orders in the 80th minute.
