Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara says the club’s time to shine is coming, even as the 2024/25 season looks set to end without silverware.
The Phobians, who failed to lift a trophy last season, are likely to go another campaign without any major honours. However, Ouattara remains upbeat about the future of the club.
“One day, Hearts of Oak will rise again,” the Ivorian tactician told Asempa FM. “It will feel magical ; a moment of true transformation and evolution.”
With just a few matches left in the Ghana Premier League season, Ouattara insists his side is focused on finishing strongly.
“We are treating every game like a final. The aim is to win all our remaining fixtures,” he said.
The Phobia’s coach also hinted at a possible internal review if they fail to meet their targets.
“If we don’t win the league, then we need to take a hard look at ourselves and ask: where did we go wrong?”
Hearts of Oak will next travel to the Golden City Park to face Berekum Chelsea on Matchday 31.
