Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have announced their new captains going into the fresh season with Abdul Ganiyu Ismail stripped of his leadership post.
Ganiyu, 26, had been leading the Kotoko squad for the past 2 seasons after he replaced Emmanuel Gyamfi.
However, the new technical team have decided to review the leadership of the playing body and have now named Richard Boadu as the new captain.
The reasons for the decision to exclude the center from the list of captains is unknown.
