Ipswich Town boss Gary O’Neil says new signing Abdul Fatawu will significantly strengthen his side’s attacking options after the Ghana winger completed a move from Leicester City.
The 20-year-old Ghana international joins the Premier League newcomers having already built up notable experience at both club and international level, and O’Neil believes his arrival will add a fresh dimension to Ipswich’s forward line.
Manager hails ‘exciting’ young talent
Confirming the deal, O’Neil described Fatawu as an energetic, technically gifted wide player who is ready to make an impact at Portman Road.
According to him, “Abdul is a young player who has already gained good experience in the game and we’re excited to have him with us.
“He has strong physical and technical attributes, is comfortable on the ball and can test the opposition in one-on-one situations, so will provide us with good options within the squad.”
