Belgian-Ghanaian winger Aaron Osei Bonsu has joined KSK Heist from German club Rot Weiss Ahlen on a free transfer.
The 21-year-old right winger moves to the Belgian side’s 1ste Nationale VV campaign after leaving Ahlen, having spent the previous part of his career in Germany. Osei Bonsu joined Rot Weiss Ahlen in November 2025 after becoming a free agent following his departure from Al-Dhafra FC.
Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Osei Bonsu represents both Belgian and Ghanaian nationality and developed in Belgium before moving abroad. He began his youth career with Beerschot, progressing through the club’s under-18 and under-23 teams before stepping up to the senior side in 2023.
Osei Bonsu was part of the Beerschot team that won the Belgian Second League title in the 2023-24 season. He then moved to Al-Dhafra in September 2024 on a free transfer, before later joining Ahlen.
The left-footed attacker has played primarily on the right wing. His career statistics include 17 appearances in the Oberliga Westfalen, where he scored once and provided one assist, as well as 19 appearances in 3de Nationale VV B. He has also featured in the 2de Nationale VV B and CPL Promotion-Playoffs.
His arrival gives KSK Heist a player with experience of football in Belgium, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. The move also brings Osei Bonsu back to the country where he developed and won his senior honour with Beerschot.
At 1.75m, Osei Bonsu is listed as an attacking right winger and prefers to use his left foot. KSK Heist have registered him as a member of their squad following the transfer on 21 August 2026.
Osei Bonsu leaves Rot Weiss Ahlen after less than a year and joins KSK Heist without a transfer fee.
