AshantiGold players received 350 cedis each after their victory over Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Yaw Annor was the hero as he scored to inspire Ashgold to a 1-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 24-year-old netted a stunner in the second half to ensure that the Miners earned their third win in their last five league games.
According to Kumasi-based reporter Obiri Yeboah on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show, Miners players received GHS350, or $47, as a winning bonus.
The win has seen the Miners move further away from the relegation zone.
They will hope to clinch victory against Berekum Chelsea in Obuasi this weekend.
