Dan Owusu has urged the government to send several former internationals to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Their presence in Qatar, according to the retired attacker, will inspire the squad to flourish in the tournament.
The 2022 World Cup will be held in Doha, Qatar from November 20th to December 18th. Ghana is in Group H with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
The Black Stars of Ghana will play Switzerland in an international friendly game before flying to Qatar.
“Some of us want to go to Qatar and support the boys so that they can put up their best. We can offer our advice, talk, and psyche them when they are going to take on their opponents,” he told GNA Sports
“Most of the current players will be motivated and inspired to see some of us there and taking former players to tournaments is not a new thing, especially in Europe,”
