Inaki Williams picks up Man of the Match award in Athletic Bilbao win

Inaki Williams was named Man of the Match following his outstanding performance for Athletic Bilbao against Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday.

The Ghanaian striker proved to be the hero at San Mames as his solitary strike in the second half was enough to hand the Red and Whites all three points.

The 28 year old struck on the hour mark when Raul Garcia put him through on goal with a brilliant pass, before keeping his cool to find the bottom left corner.

The crucial victory saw Bilbao climb up into fifth on the league standings, one point adrift of the top four.

Inaki has scored 5 goals and registered an assist in 12 games in the Spanish top flight this season.

He is expected named in Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
