‘It was a dream come true to play at Old Trafford’ – Patrick Kpozo

Ghanaian defender Patrick Kpozo says he has accomplished his childhood dream of playing at Old Trafford after coming face to face with Manchester United in the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League.

The Sheriff Tiraspol star was in action for the Moldovan top-flight club on Thursday evening in the Group stage’s penultimate round of the games.

Kpozo was very inspiring for Sheriff Tiraspol but could not have the entire team stand the wrath of the Red Devil’s as they lost 3-0 in full time.

Speaking in an interview with Original FM, the former Inter Allies Star says he feels excited playing at the Old Trafford having dreamt of such opportunity for years.

“It was great feeling to play at old Trafford, it’s a dream come true to play against Cristiano Ronaldo on the same pitch”

“It motivates me to play on the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo”Our system we played couldn’t help us yesterday because we were using care taker coach too”, he added.

“I manage to kick out Anthony from the game yesterday, he is a good player but he should have make things easy on the field of play yesterday”.

Kpozo in the ongoing campaign, enjoyed much playing time having 18 appearances for Sheriff across all competitions.
