Coach Milovan Rajevac wants unity in Black Stars for 2022 World Cup

Milovan Rajevac

In preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, former Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac is urging team togetherness for possible success at the global tournament.

Over the years, the team has seen division and acts of indiscipline in camp which includes the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where two players were sacked from the team – Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Milovan led Ghana to their best World Cup finish, reaching the last eight in South Africa in 2010.

He has emphasized the importance of team unity as Ghana prepares to face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.

“In 2010, the situation was pretty similar, the group was strong, but Ghana managed to pass through with all the challenges and make historical success,” Coach Milovan Rajevac told Kumasi based Akoma FM .

“Unity in the team is the crucial aspect for achieving great things. Ghana has the talent and the passion, I’m sure that every player, coach and official will do their best to make Ghana proud.” he added

The Ghana Football Association fired the Serbian coach following a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
