The Porcupine Warriors landed safely in the capital and will proceed to Kumasi on wednesday morning.
A late goal from Isaac Oppong ensured the Ghana Premier League champions recorded a 1-0 win over Burkinabe outfit RC Kadiogo.
The return fixture is scheduled be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
It has been 16 long years since Asante Kotoko last made an appearance in the group stages of Africa’s biggest club competition.
