Hearts of Oak capture ex-Great Olympics talisman Maxwell Abbey Quaye —

Hearts of Oak sealed the signing of former Great Olympics talisman Maxwell Abbey Quaye on a free transfer.

Abbey, 24, became a free agent after seeing out his contract at Accra-based Great Olympics where he had been playing since 2015.

The 1.74m tall midfielder has been capped once by Ghana’s senior national team and was included in the Ghana squad for the 2021 AFCON tournament

He scored 10 goals in 27 appearances for Olympics in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

He joins his former Olympics teammate Gladson Awako who signed for the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup champions last season.
