Black Princesses are on the brink of elimination from the U-20 Women’s World Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Japan on Sunday evening.
The Princesses were anticipating a win against Japan to stand a chance of progressing out of Group D, having lost their opening game 3-0 against USA.
But it did not go as planned as two penalties from Hamano in the space of ten minutes ensured Japan a win which propels them to the knockout phase.
Ghana play their final group game against Netherlands and will need a good results to stand any chance of qualifying to the next stage.
