Asante Kotoko goalkeepers’ trainer Najahu Issah has sent a message to their new goalkeepers insisting “hardwork and determination” as the key values to getting them in post.
The reigning champions signed Fredrick Asare on free transfer from Accra Lions and Cameroonian Pouaty Dendoum Moise D’assise from Colombe Sport to fortify their goalkeeping department.
“You are all welcome to the club we hope you all deliver what you are here to do.” Coach Najahu told the new goalkeepers at training ground.
“We will play about three different competitions which are CAF Champions league, Betpawa Premier Leage and MTN FA Cup.”.
“Your performance and determination will let you get the chance to be in the post for the club so we need to work hard and achieve the goal,” said Najaru.
The two-time Ghana Premier League winning goalkeepers’ trainer now has four shot-shoppers in addition to already available Ibrahim Danlad and Kwame Baah vying for a spot on the domestic scene and in Africa.
Asante Kotoko will play Burkina Faso side FC Kadiogo in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions league in September and will also host newly promoted side Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara stadium in the GPL opener.
