English Premier League side, Newcastle United has identified Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi as an alternative to the signing of Barcelona forward Memphis Depay.
The club nicknamed Magpies became a team with financial power last season when the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund with other partners completed a £300 million takeover of the club in 2021.
According to information gathered, the chairman of the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund Mohamed Bin Salman is a big fan of the quality of Memphis Depay.
He is said to have held talks with Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe and looking to sign Memphis Depay to strengthen the squad of the team.
From checks, the club is ready to offer FC Barcelona a sum of 30 million euros to try and secure the services of the Dutch attacker.
Already, there is interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs for the signing of Memphis Depay.
Should the move to sign Memphis Depay fail, Newcastle United will attempt to sign English-Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi instead.
